Exit John Coltrane

Miles accepts Coltrane’s departure from the band, which has been in process for months as the saxophonist assembles his own quartet, and begins to book appearances around New York City. Miles had helped this happen in part by asking his booking agent to help Coltrane and Adderley book their own gigs.
