NAACP IMAGE AWARDS HONORS MILES DAVIS WITH “OUTSTANDING JAZZ ALBUM” FOR MILES DAVIS AT NEWPORT 1955 – 1975: THE BOOTLEG SERIES, VOL. 4

(Los Angeles, CA) – The 2016 NAACP Image Awards honored music great Miles Davis with their Outstanding Jazz Album award for Miles Davis At Newport 1955-1975: The Bootleg Series Vol. 4. Miles Davis Estate reps Cheryl Davis (daughter of Miles) and Vince Wilburn, Jr. (nephew of Miles) accepted on his behalf.

“The family is honored to receive the 2016 Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album. We thank the NAACP for continuing to strive for equality and excellence.”
