Miles Davis ‘Kinda Blue’ Artwork By World-Renowned Bassist And Family Friend Victor Bailey

Victor Bailey is recognized as one of the world’s greatest bass players, with international recognition as a member of Weather Report and as a solo artist, composer, producer and bandleader. But for the Miles Davis family, he is also a close friend and brother. Like Miles himself, Victor began drawing and painting. More recently, Victor began creating digital art.

Victor’s original artwork can be seen and purchased as prints at Fine Art America. Three of Victor’s pieces at the gallery, including “Kinda Blue” shown below, are an homage to Miles Davis. The family is proud to feature Victor’s work here.

Victor Bailey is one of the great artists featured on Miles Davis: Evolution Of The Groove featuring Nas & Santana, released in 2007. The executive producers on the set are Steve Berkowitz and Vince Wilburn, Jr. with co-production by Wilburn, Pat Thrall, and Charley Drayton.
