Miles Davis ‘Hopscotch (slow)’ From Bootleg Volume 7 Out Today

The next installment in the celebrated Miles Bootleg Series is coming September 16 and today the third pre-release track “Hopscotch (slow)” dropped. Recorded during the You’re Under Arrest sessions in 1984, the unreleased track features Miles joined by Bob Berg, John Scofield, Robert Irving III, Darryl Jones, Vince Wilburn, Jr. and Steve Thornton and was produced by Miles and Irving.

 

 

The complete set includes two discs of previously unreleased studio material — from the Star People, Decoy and You’re Under Arrest sessions — and a third disc showcasing Miles Davis Live in Montreal on July 7, 1983.
