KPFK in Los Angeles Celebrates Miles Davis’ 84th Birthday

For nearly six decades, jazz musician, composer, arranger, producer, band leader and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Miles Dewey Davis III has embodied all that is cool… The list of band members in Miles’ groups reads like a Who’s Who of jazz musicians and Miles Davis’s 1959 recording, “Kind Of Blue” continues to be one of the best selling jazz recordings of all time.
