Much Love in Montreal

I enjoyed the Miles Davis Exhibit that I was able to catch up in Montreal, Canada. It was so awesome!!And I am just so thankful to the organization that put that fabulous event together. To see papers, pictures, instruments, to hear his music and to see just so much of Miles the man, musician, the human being--it was such a moving tribute to a great person who gave us all so many notes to carry throughout our own lives. I was so moved!

I have been a MILES DEWEY DAVIS fan!!! since the early 60's growing up in Seaside,Ca. with Monterey right around the corner,i had the opportunity to sneak(ooops!) into the jazz festival & see him a few times, my dad was a HUGE!!! Davis fan, so the music was always around the house, when he went electric,OMG!!! that was during my Hendrix,&Led Zepp time, it just blew all my music away, all those smokey parties, just got FUNNER!!!...but i have a very important question..can anybody tell me, if they ever plan on putting out a copy of the "LIVE AROUND THE WORLD" on DVD just sitting @ home with my eyes closed, trying to visualize it is rough, to see it i would pay thru the nose to have it!! ANY HELP???

I think currently there is a Miles Davis exhibition going on now in London too, I would have to look into it more. It maybe more or less a display about his artwork only though. I’m very jealous of you because I live in Tokyo, I have no idea when or if any Miles Davis exhibits at all will ever come to this city. I’m glad to hear though that you enjoyed yourself. One of these days I may have to save up to travel to go see something like this.
